You or your group can come and serve a local mission here in the United States. You will have the opportunity to serve people, that some consider hopeless, and be the hope in their lives. There is room for everyone to serve and be a part:

  • From visiting the homeless on the streets

  • Preparing or serving food

  • Setting up and taking down equipment

  • Driving a van or bus

  • Face painting or playing games with the inner city kids

There are 3 opportunities for you to become involved based on your availability and desire:

One Day Mission

Every Saturday, you are welcome to participate in our weekly outreach. We meet at the Mission 615 Campus (directions HERE) at 9:00 am and will return at 5:00pm. Be prepared to experience the high-energy Sidewalk Sunday School, where some kids come from broken homes and crack houses to encounter what is often their only contact with true hope. Following that is the homeless outreach and service,  where we hit the streets handing out bottles of water and invite our homeless friends to church that evening. During this time you will have the chance to serve in various capacities in the service whether it is driving a bus, serving a meal, or working in the clothes closet. All that is required for this action-packed day is a willing heart, closed-toed shoes and a sack lunch.  For more information please contact Eric Anderson at 615-306-2879 or JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING

Short-Term Mission (4-7 Days)

If you know of a group that would like to spend a few more days serving as a part of Mission 615, there is the opportunity for a 4-7 day mission trip. You will be spending an intense week sharing the love of Christ in the streets of Nashville feeding the hungry and bringing hope to the homeless. Activities may include building projects, larger-scale homeless outreach and inner-city children’s ministry. To book your group please contact Eric Anderson at 615-306-2879 or at JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING

Internship

For those individuals who would like to serve people at the highest level and learn what it takes to be affective in loving the less fortunate, an internship is for you.

We have a 6 week summer semester and a 12 week spring week semester to choose from.  The number of positions are limited.  An application and refrences are required.  For more information and an application form, please contact Eric Anderson at 615-306-2879 or JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING
